what is "el camino"?
The Camino de Santiago is considered one of the 3 major Christian pilgrimages in the world.
Every year, thousands of people from all nations walk the Camino, which finishes in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia.
Some of them are looking for a sport adventure, an opportunity to make international friends or to refresh their Catholic faith…
And others are in search, with no specific religion or spirituality, seeking to take a breath and think about the meaning of life, ready to hear the Gospel too.
4 things you WOULD do
- HIKE the routes with pilgrims.
- SERVE in hospitality ministries focusing on pilgrims.
- MOBILIZE the churches in the cities on the Camino.
- REACH OUT through the arts.
DATES & PRICING
Arts Release Spain & WEC will take you to walk part of the routes and to serve in hospitality.
Sign up deadline 30th of March 2024.
WHEN: From June 30th - July 15th 2024.
NOTE: All participants should arrive at least 2 DAYS before due to jet-lag concerns.
COST:
- OPTION 1: 700€ includes all meals and a bed in a mixed dormitory.
- OPTION 2: 800€ includes all meals and a bed in a private room.
NOTE: Travel expenses to Santiago de Compostela (Spain) are not included.
