The Big Goal

In WEC Spain, we believe strongly that following Jesus Christ and belonging to a loving, supportive, dynamic church family presents the vital alternative the Spanish people need.

Our primary objective in WEC International is to plant local, self-supporting churches where there currently are none. With less than 0.2% of Spain’s 44 million people being evangelical believers, this is one big mission field!

As an interdenominational mission organisation, we are not concerned with what denominational label these churches have, which means we colaborate with a variety of denominations and independent churches in Spain.

Nor do we want to import our foreign ideas of what church should be. Rather our focus is on planting churches that are linked to and reflect their local culture, while being true to Biblical principles and values.
